The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 30 – Oct. 6.

Odessa College outside hitter Mariana Ferreira is the WJCAC Player of the Week.

The 6-1 sophomore from Brazil had 58 kills, 56 digs, 3 assists, 2 solo blocks and 1 block assists in 16 sets played last week.

Mariana joins teammates Haley Thomas and Carly Evetts as the third consecutive Wrangler to be named Player of the Week.
