The Odessa College golf team finished fourth Monday at the High Country Shootout, finishing 21 strokes behind winner Midland College.

The Wranglers shot 271-283-282—836, finishing 28 under par on the 6,757-yard Links at Sierra Blanca layout. Midland College (263-279-273—815) was 49 under to top New Mexico Junior College by six strokes for the team title.

Odessa College's B team shot 290-277-272—839 to finish seventh.

Marcus Wochner, playing for the Wranglers' B team, was Odessa College's only finisher in the top 10, shooting 68-69-66—203 to tie for sixth place. Voytech Kostelka, also playing for the B team, shot 69-69-69—207 to tie for 16th.

Bryce Waters and Blake Brothers finished at 208 to tie for 19th in a group that included the B team's Frederick Topgaard. Tripp Wallace tied for 23rd at 209, while Florian Moosneier and Louis Bellan tied for 37th at even-par 216.

The B team's Alex Clarke tied for 54th at 221.
