Odessa College Completes Series Sweep Of Luna CC

The Odessa College baseball team completed a sweep of its WJCAC series against Luna Community College, winning both games of Saturday's doubleheader at American Legion Park.

The Wranglers (12-10 overall, 4-0 WJCAC) won the opener 10-2 as Charlie Shipp drove in five runs and Mason McLenna and Hunter Avila each had two RBIs. Marc Luna (4-0) struck out eight in six innings for the win, allowing one earned run on five hits.

In the nightcap, Odessa College won 11-3 as Mitch Holding drove in five runs. Holding was 3 for 4 with three doubles. Tresten Kennard, who homered, and Deylan Moreno each had two RBIs. John Bridgeman (2-0) worked 6 2-3 innings in relief for the win.
