Bio

Gabriela (Belle) Gutierrez is entering her 6th year as head coach for the OC Dance Team. Belle previously held the position of choreographer and student coach for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Under her direction, the OC Blues has won 8 Hip Hop National Championships. To date, the OC Blues Dance Team holds 13 total titles in various dance genres. This year the Blues qualified with a ranked bid to compete in the National Dance Alliance college national competition in Daytona Beach, Florida. Belle will take the Blues to compete at this prestigious competition for the program's second time. In addition, Belle is proud to announce that the Blues won two national titles for the 2022 competition season! The team currently holds the title of JUCO Hip hop National Champions. 

Coach Belle was born and raised in Odessa, Texas, where she currently resides with her husband, 7-year-old son, and 3-year-old daughter. Belle has been a student of dance herself for a total of 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the OC Dance program. She has had the opportunity to dance professionally for music artists and has performed at many prestigious showcases. Coach Belle is a much sought after collegiate and professional choreographer and clinician. Belle graduated with an associate degree from Odessa College and is currently working on continuing her education in Business.

Each year, Belle successfully brings her passion for dance and service to others together for a memorable dance season for performers and audiences alike.
